McCulloch MCC4516FK 16-Inch 4.5-Hoprsepower Electric Chain Saw
I was kind of hesitant to purchase this saw. I have 5 good chains from my old Mac saw. But upon using this, it exceeded my expectations. I was so happy with the way it performs and gets the job done. I used it to cut several trees within a month. Since I have to trouble myself adjusting its idle setting to compensate for the cold weather, I didn’t give it a 5 star rating.

Customer reviews:
Even with the coldness brought about by the spring season, using this chainsaw made our wood pile work a breeze. The manual is easy to understand and instructions were clear, making the assembling time quick and easier. I was glad its tool-less chain tightening system worked well for it was necessary for me. I noticed that the chain of this model needs to be tightened a bit. I find myself tightening it every 15 minutes. Yet after a couple of hours, the chain seems to stabilize. The tightening work seems to come only at a cold start.
With respect to getting this MCculloch chainsaw start, for me it starts quickly. You just have to pull it at full on the first and half full on the second choke. Then it runs. I suggest that you frequently lubricate its chains for better performance. I’m cutting dry, dead standing pine, so I have to lubricate it often.
Overall, I think it came at a great deal, considering the services it served me.
